"Writing can be used as a vehicle to express ourselves as we negotiate the journey through our lives” (Gallagher, 2011: p. 24)

Today’s ‘QuickWrite of the Day’:

Margaret Atwood wrote, “a word after a word after a word is power”. In other words, language is a powerful thing. With this in mind, think of a powerful word —any word—and write it at the top of your page. Next, jot down your thoughts, comments, questions, impressions and reactions that spring from that word. Try not to censor yourself–write fast and freely.

Happy writing!
